Project Management Undergraduate Certificate

The Lakewood University Project Management is designed to provide students with foundational, technical, and applied skills in project management. Students will complete four required courses, each worth 3 credit hours, for a total of 12 credit hours. The pathway includes coursework in project management principles, risk management, managing multiple projects, and the use of AI tools for project managers. The program introduces students to key project management principles, risk assessment strategies, resource coordination, and the management of multiple projects from initiation through completion. 

Students will explore how project managers use modern technology, digital tools, and artificial intelligence to improve planning, communication, organization, decision-making, and overall project performance. Emphasis is placed on applying project management concepts in real-world workplace environments while developing the technical and strategic skills needed to support successful project outcomes. 

Upon completion of the certificate, students will have a strong foundation in project management practices, including project planning, risk management, workflow coordination, and the use of emerging technology to enhance productivity and project execution.
