Introduction to Artificial Intelligence provides a practical introduction to the concepts, terminology, capabilities, and limitations of artificial intelligence in today's workplace. Students examine the relationship between artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI; explore how AI systems learn from data and produce outputs; and identify common professional applications. The course emphasizes that AI-generated content can be useful while still containing errors, bias, or incomplete information, so students learn simple methods for checking accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness before acting on decision-making
